This is Why We Will Always Need God

As you get older the more oportunities you have to do things you said you’d never do.

As Christians, a lot of us give off the impression that we are perfect, or at least hide the more sinful parts of us. I believe if we were more open, about making mistakes and doing things that may be against what God wants, things would change in a positive way.

I’m not saying they we just allow ourselves to be okay with sinning and continuing to do the things that are against God, but being able to freely admit it to ourselves and others.

I don’t think a lot a Christians mean to come off as being perfect but if we share to other Christians that we watch porn or have premarital sex or the many different things that we may hide, we look like we are failing at being Christians. In reality, we’re being HUMAN.

This is why we will always need God.

I have done things that I said I would never do. I can hide behind them, which just stops me from getting closer to God, or I can ask God to help change my heart. I am not any better than the next person just because I have a relationship with God.

Also, we are not one to assess others on what they do with their life. It is God’s job to do that. We are called to love like Jesus. We can love everyone without compromising our faith and beliefs.
